About Me
I am a world traveler, who has lived in Australia, Papua New Guinea, California, and Hawai’i. I am passionate about the world and specifically the environment, which I love to photograph. I came to Hawai’i when my wife got a job in Sea Turtle Conservation and I needed a new hobby. My curiosity and love of coffee led me to work for a local roaster. That inspired me to combine my passions of photography and coffee to create Ko'olau Coffee, a company that sells small batch roasted coffee that is dedicated to supporting local businesses while preserving the environment.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide the best coffee on island and to bring awareness and relief to the foundations that help protect our planet.
$1 from every bag of coffee sold will be donated to the Papahānaumokuākea Marine Debris Project (PMDP)
Small Batch Roasting
We partner with a local roaster who roasts premium arabica beans sourced within Hawai’i and around the world. Green beans are roasted in small batches to ensure quality and consistency. By roasting less than 30 pounds of green coffee beans it is easier to keep the beans moving within the roaster, making sure that all beans get the same level of roast. Roasting in smaller batches also means freshly roasted coffee delivered to your door.
